Streamline Verify Attending Managed Care Conference This February
Howell, NJ (PRWEB) February 02, 2015 -- Streamline Verify is participating in a new conference this year, and is slated to be an exhibitor at the Managed Care Compliance Conference next month. This will give the company the opportunity to integrate itself more fully into the managed care market.
“It’s our first time going to this particular show, and we definitely feel like it’s a great opportunity for us to learn more and inject ourselves into the managed care market,” said Streamline Verify Vice President of Sales Steven Grossman. “We look forward to meeting and networking with our peers at this great educational event we’re able to be a part of.”
The conference is organized by the Health Care Compliance Association. Streamline Verify has been to other HCCA shows, and chose to be a part of this conference because it already has clients in the health plan market and has seen that there’s a need for additional services there. Streamline Verify offers both software solutions and full-service screening services associated with the Office of the Inspector General’s exclusion list as well as state Medicaid exclusion lists, which prevent certain individuals from being employed by health organizations that receive funds from government health programs.
“We feel that there’s a strong need for the management of compliance in health plans, and in order to be the most successful, we should educate ourselves and meet the people who need our services,” Grossman commented.
Grossman will be joined at the conference, held this year in Las Vegas, NV, from Feb. 15 to Feb. 18, by Director of Operations Jeff Josefovic.
For attendees, the conference’s focus will be educational, and is recommended for anyone involved with compliance in the managed care industry, including healthcare compliance officers, counsels for health plans, auditors or managed care attorneys. Scheduled speakers include top ethics officers, compliance personnel, CEOs, advisors, analysts and attorneys for companies such as Health Net Inc., Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Kaiser Permanente.
The conference will even allow attendees to demonstrate their new knowledge by offering an optional exam on the event’s final day. Those who pass are Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) by the Compliance Certification Board. CHC certification is good for two years.
“We’re really looking forward to this event, and we’re excited to show attendees how we can help them with their compliance responsibilities,” said Grossman.
