T. Bradford Hurdle Thrills Readers With New Crime Novel
Ahoskie, NC (PRWEB) August 06, 2014 -- Secrets, intrigue and murder await readers in author T. Bradford Hurdle’s debut crime novel, “Eden's Edge” (published by AuthorHouse).
Set in the town of Eden’s Edge, North Carolina, “Eden's Edge” opens with the discovery of a gruesome murder in the town square. Jared Michaels, a member of a prominent family in the community, is found mutilated and naked, but few clues lead the investigation further.
When Detective Donovan Wolf is called in to investigate, he quickly learns that the town is not what it appears. Religious fanaticism runs rampant and a secret about Jared’s private life surfaces. As Wolf uncovers more and more about Jared’s life, he soon realizes that the murderer will stop at nothing to keep this secret safe, even if it means getting rid of Wolf.
Packed with drama and mystery, Hurdle’s novel draws from his own experiences as a gay man growing up in the South. Through his book, he aims to illustrate that differences should unite people, not drive them apart.
“Our differences should not separate us, but make more interesting,” Hurdle writes. “Most of all, I would like my readers to feel they have left my story feeling entertained and engaged.”
