TargetSolutions Introduces Inaugural Fire/EMS and Cities Advisory Boards
San Diego, California (PRWEB) May 18, 2017 -- TargetSolutions, the leading provider of computer-based training management applications for public entities, is excited to announce the creation of two new advisory boards. These two boards – one for Fire and EMS agencies, the other for Cities and Counties – will work to help TargetSolutions enhance its online training management system for their respective markets.
Composed of dedicated TargetSolutions customers, the boards’ primary objectives will be to provide new product and service ideas, weigh-in on product priorities, provide guidance on the functionality of development projects, and offer information on market trends and insights. At the end of the day, the goal is to provide expertise and input for TargetSolutions’ technology and content roadmaps.
“The creation of these boards has been a few years in the making, and they will serve as a valuable source of market insight for new ideas as well as the direction of the product as a whole,” said TargetSolutions Product Manager Misty Pratt.
The inaugural Fire and EMS board had its kick-off meeting in February at which time the group discussed long-term strategy and the vision of TargetSolutions. The board consists of 16 members, including Matt Barnes (South Marin Fire Department, Calif.), Fred Brandell (Fairfax County Virginia Fire/EMS, Va.), Eddie Buchanan (Hanover Fire and EMS, Va.), Dave Downey (Albuquerque Fire Department, N.M.), Dan Froelich (San Diego Fire Rescue, Calif.), David Haines (Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, Ore.), Amy Marsh (Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, S.D.), Dan Pfannenstiel (West Metro Fire Protection District, Colo.), Dave Piper (Orland Fire Protection District, Ill.), Kevin Platt (Contra Costa Fire Protection District, Calif.), Clint Regier (Oklahoma City Fire Department, Okla.), Carson Sanders (Sarasota County Fire Rescue, Fla.), Robert Stine (San Bernardino County Fire Department, Calif.), Jay Sumerlin (West Pierce Fire & Rescue, Wash.) Rick Vogt (Escondido Fire Department, Calif.), Bill Voorhies (Dekalb County Fire Rescue, Ga.).
TargetSolutions’ Cities Advisory Board is comprised of six industry professionals who will provide expertise to develop the platform for public entities. Those six individuals include Lynn Adgett (City of Reno, Nev.), Tracey Booth (City of Peoria, Ariz.), Jessica Duff (City of Burbank, Calif.), Rejo Mathew (City of Redlands, Calif.), Mike Russell (City of West Palm Beach, Fla.), Kelcey Stewart (City of Boise, Idaho).
With an ongoing mission to adapt to new market training requirements, the board for cities will offer insight into market trends, discuss city practices and training requirements, and provide new product or service ideas to improve the system.
“We’re hoping that the board developed for cities will help us hone in on currently untapped opportunities to develop online training within the market,” Pratt said. “There’s much we can learn with the formation of this board, and we can’t wait to see how this will enhance the platform’s features outside of online training as well.”
Both advisory boards are annual commitments and will be evaluated every calendar year to ensure a constant influx of participation and fresh ideas.
