Tee it up for the Troops Continues Support to Hope For The Warriors
Annandale, VA (PRWEB) March 28, 2014 -- Tee it up for the Troops, Inc. (http://www.teeitupforthetroops.org) has once again shown their support and dedication to Hope For The Warriors® (http://www.hopeforthewarriors.org). In 2014, Tee it up for the Troops has donated almost $100K to the organization. Since making its first donation in 2008, Tee it up for the Troops has donated more than $300,000 total to Hope For The Warriors®.
Both nonprofit organizations focus on serving and honoring wounded service members and veterans. Tee it up for the Troops has raised more than $5 million dollars through events held throughout the country. 95% of the funds raised have been donated to more than 100 national and local organizations that support wounded service members, veterans, and military families. Donations from Tee it up for the Troops have been used by Hope For The Warriors® to support its four program pillars: Career Transition & Education, Clinical Health & Wellness, Sports & Recreation, and Community & Military Relations. All programs within these pillars provide a full cycle of care to wounded service members and military families.

Tee it up for the Troops, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and was established in 2005 by the family and friends of a soldier who enlisted in the United States Army after September 11, 2001. When the son was asked by his father what he needed, the son responded by asking his father to do something for the soldiers and their families back home. Tee it up for the Troops was created to honor that request and to recognize the needs of all veterans who have served and continue to serve this great nation.
