The Institutes Update Courses With Data Analytics Material
Malvern, PA (PRWEB) October 25, 2016 -- The Institutes have updated four of their designation courses to explain key concepts of data analytics and their role in insurance and risk management. The changes, which were released October 1, are part of The Institutes’ ongoing efforts to help students maintain their competitive edge.
The following courses received important updates:
• Associate in Claims (AIC™) 47, Claims Leadership and Organizational Alignment
• Associate in Risk Management (ARM™) 54, Risk Management Principles and Practices
• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU™) 67, Strategic Underwriting Techniques
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) 500, Foundations of Risk Management and Insurance
Changes to these courses complement release of The Institutes’ Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDATM) in September and address a current industry need.
“At The Institutes, we strive to ensure that we are providing the latest knowledge to our valued customers,” said Sharon Gilpin, vice president of products at The Institutes. “With the release of our highly anticipated curriculum on data analytics, the updates to our other designation courses are timely, relevant and customer focused.”
Students currently enrolled in the four updated courses can test using the previous course material through The Institutes’ spring exam window, April to June 2017. Testing on the new material will begin January 15, 2017.
