The Meadows Wickenburg to Sponsor Lecture in Dallas on January 21
Wickenburg, AZ (PRWEB) January 16, 2014 -- The Meadows trauma and addiction treatment center is sponsoring a free lecture in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, Jan. 21 presented by Katrena Hart, LPC-S, CBT, ATA, on the topic of “How to Listen to the Lessons and Language of the Body.” It will be held at the Unity Church of Dallas Sanctuary from 7:00 to 8:30pm and no registration is required.
The presentation will focus on how the body communicates messages and how to listen to these messages. For example, posture and movement, voice tone, and illnesses all communicate messages.
Hart is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in private practice in Allen, Texas. She is a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist (CBT), and serves on the board for the Dallas Society of Bioenergetic Analysis. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, EMDR. She is a Certified Psychodramatist (CP), and is a trained mediator. She is a Trainer Educator Practitioner (TEP) of Psychodrama allowing her to give hours of psychodrama training towards certification by the American Board of Examiners of Psychodrama. Hart is an expert in the treatment of domestic violence issues with teens and adults. She also has expertise in treating chemical dependency and behavioral issues with teens and adults. In addition, she has experience in treating depression, phobias, anxiety, and dissociative disorders with all ages.
The Meadows sponsors free lectures in various cities throughout the country. Speakers include local therapists familiar with The Meadows’ model. Lectures are free and open to the public.
