The National Hospice Foundation Expands Into New Territory
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 13, 2015 -- Autumn Spence of Hospice Pharmacy Solutions (HPS) joins the Signature Events Council at the National Hospice Foundation as its newest member. Spence currently serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development with HPS, a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) company for hospices. The appointment of Spence, a leading business executive, signals continual growth and expansion of the Signature Events Council, as she is the second member from the business community to join the council. Spence will be responsible for expanding sponsorships, donations and attendees.
Spence joins the council after nearly 20 years of pharmacy benefit management, healthcare and fundraising experience. Spence served in a variety of Development and Fundraising positions for SafePlace, an advocacy agency and confidential shelter for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Thurston County, WA. She also served as the Auction Coordinator for the Cal Anderson Benefit Auction for The Evergreen State College Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to building an outstanding future for the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. Spence also held a number of leadership roles at Choice Regional Health Network (CHOICE), a non-profit coalition of acute, chronic, behavioral and wellness providers and organizations dedicated to improving the health of the residents in seven counties in the State of Washington before working in the hospice PBM industry. Currently, she is a member of the Advisory Board for CareFlash a private online social platform “Spence joins the council with a valuable skills and experience to increase awareness and help in fundraising efforts” said Nguyen “ her enthusiasm is welcomed by all”.
