The Quintess Collection Enhances Membership Offerings with New Adventures Through Renowned Providers
Broomfield, CO (PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- The Quintess Collection, a leader in private luxury travel since 2004, announced today the addition of two new exclusive experiences and a suite of other adventures to the club’s already robust collection of travel opportunities worldwide. Members may now explore even more of the world, including discovering the Amazon and Machu Picchu, touring Sri Lanka, India and Bhutan, savoring truffles and wine in Lake Como, cruising around Alaska, and experiencing Burgundy’s rich culinary culture.
“We’re committed to giving our members what they desire most–precious quality time with friends and loved ones in extraordinary locations,” said Ben Addoms, Chief Marketing Officer of The Quintess Collection. “The addition of these one-of-a-kind adventures was driven by our members’ interests and our desire to provide the best vacations throughout the world.”
From the explorer to the epicurean, members will find the club’s new suite of Quintess Adventures offers more unique and elegant ways to travel the world. By teaming up with other renowned travel and experience experts such as Natural Habitat Adventures, Nomad Tanzania, &Beyond, and IfOnly, Quintess is able to offer bespoke experiences across five continents. The club’s new Quintess Adventures include:
Alaska–This eight-day Quintess members-only experience allows participants to choose their own activities as they bear witness to the remaining glaciers, enter some of the world’s deepest fjords to hike and kayak, and relax in the tranquility of the natural wonder of the stunning landscape. With the Safari Explorer, a luxurious private yacht, as basecamp, Quintess members can discover the Alaska wilderness on the grandest scale through the “Land, Air and Sea” adventure co-created by Natural Habitat Adventures.
Burgundy–Part of the recently released “World of Wine” collection, the Quintess members-only experience in Burgundy offers members the chance to explore this famous wine region with noted wine critic, John Gilman. Members stay at L’Hôtel de Beaune, a luxuriously restored nineteenth-century mansion and venture out to some of the area’s top wineries, including Chateau du Clos De Vougeot and Domaine Joseph Drouhin. Sommeliers and vintners who know Mr. Gilman personally open their homes to create experiences unavailable anywhere else.
Lake Como–In collaboration with IfOnly, and under the guidance of David Lynch, one of the world’s leading sommeliers, Quintess members are invited to tour Northern Italy’s wine country during the “Truffles and Wine” experience. The eight-day journey features a plethora of activities centered around the renowned local food and wine, including foraging for truffles, dining at Michelin-starred restaurants and learning to make pasta from noted local chefs.
Peru–This ten-day Quintess members-only experience offers adventurers the opportunity to explore two of the world’s great natural and cultural treasures: Machu Picchu, the mystical stone city built by the Incas in the fifteenth century, and the Amazon Basin, home to a staggering array of wildlife, including the elusive jaguar. Throughout the journey, and through the masterful work of Natural Habitat Adventures, members enjoy upgraded accommodations, transportation and activities.
Sri Lanka, India and Bhutan–Quintess members are invited to explore some of the world’s most beautiful and sacred sites with the “Three Country Tour.” The 14-day excursion starts in Bhutan, the heart of Buddhism, and ends with four days relaxing on the pristine shores of Sri Lanka. Between time in Bhutan and Sri Lanka, guests immerse themselves in the history and wonder of India with a full-day guided tour of Delhi. This expanded itinerary was created after exceptional member feedback about the Bhutan and India offered last year with the assistance of &Beyond.
“Bhutan is like going back in time,” said Jackie Savoie, Quintess Member. “It is so beautiful and the people are so warm and gracious. There’s not a flat spot in the whole country—the rugged scenery is just jaw-dropping. There are so many tsongs (temples). Each was unique but Tiger’s Nest was the ultimate. And Aman hotels lined up for us were wonderful and the food was over the top. We even met the King and Queen! You really need to visit this raw and unspoiled kingdom now!”
The Quintess Collection offers two ways to experience the club–the new Club Card and Memberships. Both choices provide access to the club’s entire portfolio of 170 residences in 60 worldwide destinations complemented with extensive pre-travel planning and support and exemplary in-destination service. Memberships start at $75,000 for 14 nights plus nightly fees, and the Club Card is $100,000 for 50 nights of usage over a three-year period.
