Thermi™ Announces CE Mark for ThermiRFR
Irving, TX (PRWEB) November 30, 2015 -- Thermi™, a world leader in thermistor-regulated energy solutions for plastic surgery and dermatology, is proud to announce that its ThermiRFR temperature controlled radiofrequency platform has received CE marking and may now be sold in Europe.
ThermiRF is an innovative multi-application radiofrequency platform which uses temperature as a clinical endpoint. The technology has been available in the United States and Asia since 2012 and is finally entering the European marketplace. The company plans its initial launch activities to be held in Hamburg, Germany in December.
Since its introduction in the US market in 2012, over 40,000 procedures have been performed with the popular ThermiRF platform. ThermiRF applications are based on numerous peer-reviewed protocols. ThermiRaseR uses a tiny subdermal probe which applies heat disable motor nerves which cause unwanted glabella furrows (brow) and platysma banding (neck). ThermiTightR is a single treatment for laxity which uses a tiny RF probe which is inserted under the skin using local anesthesia. Tissues are heated to a user-selected temperature which causes shrinkage of collagen and destruction of fat cells. ThermiVa uses a proprietary disposable hand piece for non-surgical feminine rejuvenation. ThermiVa treatments target issues common with child bearing and menopause. A recent study showed benefits for women suffering from vaginal laxity, vaginal atrophy (dryness), incontinence, overactive bladder and compromised sensation.
According to company CEO, Paul Herchman, “We are pleased to finally enter the European market with our ThermiRF and Thermi250 platforms. We have seen strong interest in our solutions in the Eurozone and we expect Thermi to become a leader in Europe very quickly.”
