Transamerican Manufacturing Group Recognized for Excellence With 21 Awards at SEMA
Compton, California (PRWEB) November 20, 2015 -- Transamerican Auto Parts subsidiary Transamerican Manufacturing Group (TMG) was honored at this year’s SEMA Show with a total of 21 industry awards for its innovative products. As a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of truck, Jeep and SUV aftermarket products, the extensive TMG brand portfolio includes Smittybilt, Pro Comp, Poison Spyder Customs and Rubicon Express. SEMA also named the company as part of the elite group to receive a 2016 Global Media Award. The international SEMA voting panel reviewed nearly 2,000 new products displayed at this year’s Show in Las Vegas.
Among the TMG products that won awards are G2 Axle & Gear’s Jeep JK heavy duty driveshaft, Pro Comp’s steering stabilizer, Rubicon Express’ performance 2-inch dual rate coilover with reservoir shock and Smittybilt’s recon trailer. “TMG is both humbled and excited about the awards that we received at this year’s SEMA Show,” says Darryl Sanford, TMG New Product Manager. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and innovation of the entire TMG team.”
One standout product was Smittybilt’s magnetic trail skins, which garnered a blue ribbon as Best New Product in the Off-Road/4-Wheel Drive Product category. Made of magnetic vinyl, the skins have been developed exclusively for Jeeps and will be available to consumers in 2016. Additionally, Pro Comp’s 44 Series – Syndrome was awarded as a runner up in the Wheel and Related Product category.
“We’re privileged to be recognized for these honors as we continue to create and improve upon our consumer product line,” says Sean Angues, President of TMG. “These awards validate our engineering and manufacturing expertise and exemplify our broad spectrum of offerings as we continue to develop new and innovative products for our customers.”
