TranslateMedia Releases Updated Language Cartridge for Salesforce Commerce Cloud
(PRWEB) January 26, 2018 -- TranslateMedia first released its Salesforce Commerce Cloud (previously Demandware) integration back in 2015 – one of the first localization providers to have a fully functioning integration to support global eCommerce retailers on their international expansion efforts.
Since then, the cartridge has been continuously updated and improved in response to client feedback and developments in eCommerce. The latest version of the cartridge is the most advanced localization integration available for Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Key features include:
Source language flexibility
Instead of limiting site administrators to a single source language, such as English, new tools allow the client to set a language other than the “default” language and vary the language combinations of source and target language as needed. For example, several clients use either French, German or Italian as the source language.
Improved search functionality
TranslateMedia has enhanced the search functionality across products, categories and assets – allowing clients to find and send products and content for translation much more quickly and easily.
Faster content retrieval
Once the translations are complete, the process of importing them back into Salesforce Commerce Cloud is much faster and more user-friendly with the previous six-step process being reduced to a single click.
Manage larger batches
Site administrators are able to send and retrieve much larger batches of content and inventory – increasing efficiency, reducing time to market and boosting ROI. The Cartridge uses translation memory so the client never pays twice for the same translation.
Supports product categories
Salesforce Commerce Cloud users are now able to send product categories for translation directly from the Business Manager. They can also receive instant quotes and turnaround times without having to export and import files – reducing error and speeding up the localization process.
Enhanced multi-site capabilities
Additional features have been included to optimize the way imported translations work with libraries that are shared across multiple sites – increasing flexibility and scalability, allowing clients to spend less time on technical configuration and more time focused on growing their businesses.
“This release of the cartridge is a big step forward in terms of performance optimisation and features. We took direct feedback from our clients over a long period and examined how the cartridge fits within their working practices. That knowledge meant we could ensure that this release is a significant upgrade, and one which translates into valuable process improvements for TranslateMedia clients,” said Matt Train, Operations Director at TranslateMedia.
The certified cartridge is available to download from the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Link Marketplace.
