Trident University International Supports Key Military Initiatives in Texas
Cypress, CA (PRWEB) April 13, 2016 -- Recently key members of Trident University International’s (Trident) executive and management team participated in the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in San Antonio, TX, also known as the San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. (SALE).
The University served as a platinum sponsor of the calf scramble and awarded a scholarship to a local student. This award will allow the recipient to procure a breeding animal in order to further his agricultural knowledge. The winner will regularly update Trident on his progress over the course of the following year, with the chance to qualify for a college scholarship next year.

By being ready and willing to donate both time and money to help further the educational goals of the children of Texas, it makes it much easier to impress the importance of education to the community. Coinciding with their attendance at the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) conference, Trident representatives at SALE included Travis Allen, President & CEO, Eric Rajasalu, Sr. Vice Present of Admissions, Marketing, and Outreach, Esmeralda Silva, Vice President of Outreach and Strategic Alliances, CSM (R) Philip F. Johndrow, Senior Director of Military and Veteran Alliances, and Regional Manager of Strategic Military & Community Relations, Deena Mullins.
SALE has grown to one of the largest, most prestigious events in the city, attracting more than one million visitors each year. With the help of over 6,000 volunteers, as well as community and donor support, SALE has donated more than $160.1 million to the youth of Texas through scholarships, grants, endowments, auctions, programs and show premiums.
