TriMED Healthcare, LLC COmmunity Fundraiser - Online Event
Newtown, PA (PRWEB) August 05, 2014 -- TriMED HealthCare is announcing the launch of its fundraising efforts for its elder homecare initiatives. The company is seeking to raise funds in order to better meet the homecare needs of ailing adult and elderly care recipients, many of whom are often isolated and tragically victimized. The funds also aid the cause of single mother caregivers’ transportation needs. By teaching these women to fish, they will fish for life and remain off welfare. A percentage of the funds will also help to fund medical research in underserved communities as well as fund technological innovation to improve business processes. The fundraising effort will be hosted online through the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform through which sponsors and enthusiasts will have access to further details regarding the fundraiser as well as TriMED merchandise and other contribution options. TriMED is working to raise at least $100,000 to effectively contribute these various causes.
Current University of Pennsylvania medical student and Harvard University graduate, Atasha Jordan, commented on the importance of elderly homecare in Pennsylvania; “TriMED Healthcare fills a great need in the US healthcare system. Over 14% of the American population is over the age of 65, making it clear that TriMED–an agency that gives compassionate in-home care to Pennsylvania's elderly—is an integral part to helping this population remain as independent as possible, in the comfort of their own homes. TriMED HealthCare provides hourly and live-in services to seniors, allowing them to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes as they age. TriMED HealthCare caregivers are expertly trained and follow a total approach to care, encouraging independence and engaging consumers in physical, mental and social activities. Assistance with Daily Living (ADL) needs such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, bathing, medication reminders and transportation. At TriMED HealthCare, caregivers are also trained in various areas of senior care including Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke and post operation recovery to provide a one-on-one, tailored service care plans for each new consumer.
