TydenBrooks Wins Lawsuit Against Cambridge Security Seals.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 11, 2015 -- TydenBrooks has prevailed in a longstanding lawsuit against Cambridge Security Seals (TydenBrooks v. Cambridge Security Seals, USDCT, SDNY, C.A. No. 12 CV 2937). On May 4, 2015, a jury in the Federal District Court, Southern District of New York, found that Cambridge misappropriated TydenBrooks’ trade secrets relating to TydenBrooks’ manufacturing processes for its plastic indicative security seals. The jury also decided that Cambridge engaged in unfair competition and was unjustly enriched by its actions.
According to court documents, TydenBrooks filed the lawsuit in 2012 and alleged, among other things, that Cambridge hired TydenBrooks’ employees and then misappropriated TydenBrooks’ trade secrets relating to its manufacturing processes for plastic seals.
“TydenBrooks is gratified that the jury has protected TydenBrooks’ valuable and proprietary trade secrets,” said Bob Kirby, Global President of TydenBrooks. “The jury has sent a strong message that competitors should not attempt to get an unfair advantage in the marketplace through trade secret theft.” Kirby continued to say that, “For many years, TydenBrooks has been engaged in innovative, high quality solutions in the design, manufacture and supply of high security and tamper evident seals and devices on a global basis. TydenBrooks looks forward to partnering with current and future customers to provide them with first class service in an open, honest, and ethical manner.”
