UA Believes Hillary Clinton Is Best Candidate; Endorsement Sought from Delegates at Union Convention
Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) July 27, 2016 -- In a resolution submitted to delegates, it is stated that “Hillary Rodham Clinton has proven to be the candidate with the most extensive and successful record of public service, the greatest leadership experience and best overall qualifications to serve this office and lead our nation.”
The resolution also stresses that Secretary Clinton “has pledged to support massive future investments needed for our country’s infrastructure, including water and wastewater systems and energy pipelines, and to enact sound, common-sense based energy policies, including those promoting nuclear power, natural gas and other safe, reliable energy sources.”
The UA believes that Secretary Clinton’s positions on these issues and others, such as fighting income inequality, rebuilding the middle class and developing employment opportunities for skilled workers, will make her “a dedicated, effective advocate for promoting the rights and interests of UA members, organized labor and working families.”
