Utah Transit Authority chooses eFORCE®
Logan, Utah (PRWEB) March 12, 2015 -- UTA has selected eFORCE’s Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Software (RMS) and fare enforcement software applications to improve efficiency and safety for its customers.
Operating a fleet of more than 600 buses and paratransit vehicles, 400 vanpools, 146 light rail vehicles, 63 commuter rail cars and 18 locomotives, UTA serves approximately 1.8 million people in the largest segment of population in the state of Utah. Its reach spans 1,600 square miles over six different counties and it operates in one of the largest geographical service areas of any transit agency in the United States.
In addition to UTA, eFORCE® also provides web-based software solutions for a number of other large transportation police/security organizations, including CSX Railroad, Denver Regional Transportation District and San Diego Metropolitan Transit System.
“We are excited that UTA has chosen to join the eFORCE® family. Their need for an integrated solution that will work in concert with a smartphone fits beautifully with our current mobile solutions initiative. Like many of our customers, UTA’s partnership will produce results that will benefit all of our current and future customers,” said Cory Bowers, President and CEO of eFORCE®.
