Val Grubb Launches Website Dedicated to Traveling with Aging Parents
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- Val Grubb is pleased to announce the launch of “On the Road Again: Traveling with Your Aging Parents,” a website dedicated to the joys, the challenges and the nuts and bolts of traveling with aging parents. Designed for those who may have shied away from traveling with a parent for health or other reasons, it will act as a forum to get advice and ask questions about what to expect and how to make travel easier with an elderly parent in tow.
“I was compelled to create this site after taking my 82-year-old mother who was confined to a wheelchair to Australia in early 2013,” said Val Grubb. “Although there were numerous articles, websites and books on traveling with children of all ages, I could not locate a single site dedicated to the how-to’s of traveling with an aging parent.”
She continued: “My research revealed that travel with elderly parents was on the rise—indicating I wasn’t alone in my need for information—and this blog will show that it’s not only possible to travel with an aging parent, it’s actually possible to enjoy it!”
“On the Road Again” is a valuable resource for anyone looking to include a parent on an upcoming travel adventure. It will cover everything from seeing the humor in the challenges to uncovering a parents’ fantasy vacations to how to get oxygen tanks on a plane.

About Val Grubb
Val Grubb’s father was a pilot, so she was practically born in the air and started traveling at the early age of four years old. A couple years ago, she decided to show her mom the world, one airport ramp at a time. With an 82-year age span across her family, vacations require more planning in order for everyone to have a good time and Val’s found that it’s well worth the extra effort to have her mom with her to share in travel adventures.
