New York, NY (PRWEB) October 02, 2013 -- New challenges for dialogue based programs:
The commercial background for a dialogue based program is well-known; a continuous and relevant dialogue with customers generates long-term relationships and loyalty. However, due to the increase in digital customer contact points, the challenges connected with implementing and maintaining a dialogue based program have increased exponentially.
Online and offline personalized dialogue:
For LEO Pharma, Vertic developed an integrated dialogue-based platform targeting patients with psoriasis that uses a combination of online and offline media. These patients need different types of support depending on the progression of their disease, personal preferences and worries. The dialogue based platform builds a personalized onsite experience with text messages and e-mails that match the user’s profile and the stage of their disease. It consists of the digital creation of personalized printed materials such as a 1:1 physical magazine and a call-center service managed by nurses.
One global, scalable solution:
Vertic developed the strategy, concept and design of the dialogue based program in close collaboration with both LEO Pharma’s headquarters and their offices around the world, to ensure that the solution was founded on a global understanding of the patient’s needs and the unique pre-conditions that exist in each country. Peter Aksel Villadsen, Director of Global Patient Engagement at Leo Pharma, spoke about the solution: "LEO Pharma helps people achieve healthy skin. This includes developing new digital technologies that enable us to provide highly individualized support to people suffering from this dermatological condition. Through a successful partnership with Vertic and Sitecore, we’ve leveraged our disease understanding to launch new state-of-the-art patient solutions globally." The technical solution is also implemented by Vertic. This consists of a master version optimized to support scalability in correlation with local implementations and efficient execution of upgrades and new functions.
A new function for using Sitecore's Digital Marketing Suite and Vertic as a Sitecore partner:
Using Sitecore’s Digital Marketing Suite for LEO Pharma establishes a new way to communicate with patients. Sebastian Jespersen, CEO of Vertic stated, “We’re very happy with the solution, especially because it activates the potential of using Engagement Plus and Sitecore as a foundation of both digital and offline communication. The solution tracks the user’s proceedings in all channels and covers both the implicit as well as the explicit needs. On that basis the personalization is controlled across channels, and sequentially new kinds of interactions, based on the user’s profile, are introduced.” Thomas G. Andersen, the Danish Manager at Sitecore, added, “The solution shows Sitecore's potential as a digitally founded customer engagement platform and it reflects our vision for the use of Sitecore."
