Veteran Mortgage Industry Executive Lionel Savage Launches Advisory Group
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- Financial services veteran and President of the Lionheart Consulting Group, LLC Lionel C. Savage announced today two new ventures – Lionheart Consulting Group, LLC (LCG), a firm focused on advising firms on supplier diversity implementation, business development and government and industry relations and Lionheart Leaders the group’s philanthropic arm, are being launched. LCG will leverage 25 years of experience to help companies successfully produce exceptional business results while minimizing enterprise risk in the ever changing world of real estate finance.

The firm will also provide strategic input to protect and preserve business and reputation risk to clients as they seek to do business in the federal arena. LCG will also provide advisory services for companies looking to implement or enhance their supplier diversity program. Those services include supplier registration and certification as well as identify diverse supplier recruitment, networking and outreach opportunities and performance tracking and reporting.

Committed to the idea that business and community engagement are connected, Mr. Savage is also launching Lionheart Leaders, a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing and mentoring the next generation of minority business leaders. Through Lionheart Leaders, talented minority college students and young professionals will take part in daylong seminars with business leaders across all industries. The seminars will be hosted at colleges and universities nationwide.
Lionheart Leaders’ opening seminars will begin this year at the University of Southern California and North Carolina A&T State University. This summer the organization will bring the best and brightest together for an inaugural “Silver Rights Leadership Academy.” This 3-day intense leadership academy will include 4 components: 1) Financial Literacy 2) Real Estate Finance 3) Leadership and 4) Civic Engagement. The instruction will be developed and implemented with public and private partners, financial-industry professionals, colleges and other nonprofit organizations. The event will be held July 22-24 in Atlanta at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, a new, world class cultural institution dedicated to exploring stories of civil and human rights.

Lionel C. Savage has been a leader and key contributor in the financial services arena for 25 years. Prior to forming Lionheart Consulting Group, LLC and its philanthropic arm Lionheart Leaders, he served most recently as vice president of Industry Relations and Market Development at First American Financial Corp.
