Dmitriy is an IT industry veteran with more than twenty years of experience at such well-known companies as Microsoft and Amazon.
Mr. Nikonov brings a strong reputation for expertly leading high performance product management and development teams. His deep understanding of software-focused product and program management will provide VIAcode’s clients with valuable insight that will dramatically improve their applications and enable VIAcode to execute an increasing number of ambitious technology projects successfully.

Mr. Nikonov’s accomplishments are impressive. At Microsoft, he served in Senior Program Management roles for several products that have been very successful in the marketplace, including Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) and Visual Studio. He also led the Technology Adoption Program for Visual Studio, which increased Visual Studio’s market share and partner base substantially. While at Amazon, he built and managed the software development team that delivered Magazine Subscription Manager – a powerful application that enabled Amazon customers to manage their periodical subscriptions.
At Edifecs, a leading provider of EDI services to the healthcare industry, he served as a Senior Program Manager and Information Security Officer. Prior to that, Dmitriy co-founded a software and professional services company that delivered large-scale content management and CRM-related software development projects globally for customers in banking, retail, manufacturing, insurance and government.
