Advanced Linear Local Ad Insertion Platform Now Available as SAAS
Vigor Systems, Inc., a leader in TV ad insertion services and content distribution, has announced the launch of Advertio Cloud, the software-as-a-service version of Vigor’s advanced linear local ad insertion platform. The launch of Advertio Cloud will benefit broadcasters, cable operators and IPTV networks with the increased reliability and performance associated with cloud technology and automation.
By moving media delivery, scheduling and monitoring into the cloud, cable operators will future-proof their operations from rapidly changing technology while immediately benefitting from operational flexibility. Advertio Cloud is a major enhancement to the Advertio hardware currently in the marketplace which previously was only available for direct purchase.

The Vigor server included with all subscriptions is a high-density DPI ad server for SD and HD content. When used in conjunction with SCTE-compliant ad splicers, Advertio provides ad insertion on compressed video channels. Current Advertio functionality supports MPEG-2 and MPEG4 AVC (H.264) in SD and HD formats as well as SCTE-30/35 DPI trigger commands. Advertio has guaranteed interoperability with industry-leading ad splicers, simultaneous ad insertion on up to 100 channels, and approximately 96,000 SD/36,000 HD 30-second ad storage capacity.
Premiere Advertio Cloud clients will begin service rollout in March 2018.
