Villa Ford, LifeStream Blood Drive
ORANGE, Cali. (PRWEB) October 29, 2014 -- Teaming up with LifeStream, Villa Ford hosted a blood drive October 20th to support the needs of the blood bank donation program. For Villa Ford General Manager Scott Wade it was confirmation of what he feels makes his employees and customers exceptional. Wade noted, "The final tally was 29 first time donors registered, 26 people stepped up to actually donate and 22 units of blood were collected." He added, "We have all heard the saying it is better to give than receive and this is no better example."
Even more satisfying was the assessment of the Villa Ford blood drive by LifeStream Area Representative Claudia Osorio who said, "We were very pleased with the drive overall, and the willingness of the donors to share this lifesaving gift." The event was coordinated by Villa Ford’s Charity Slusser as part of the dealership’s ongoing support of LifeStream and as Osorio commented, "The efforts of David Wilson’s Villa Ford have always been greatly appreciated and their support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately savings lives."
A member of the Wilson Automotive Group, Villa Ford GM Wade was well aware of the need for assistance by pointing out, “LifeStream must receive at least 500 donations daily in order to support 175,000 transfusions annually – that is a community obligation we are proud to support.” For more information on the scope of LifeStream and their service to the community, log on to http://www.LifeStream.org.
