Visual Communications Consultant Adam Bloomberg To Speak At IADC Conference
OVERLAND PARK, KS, (PRWEB) February 04, 2014 -- Adam Bloomberg, Managing Director of Visual Communications for Litigation Insights, will be presenting at the International Association of Defense Counsel’s 2014 Midyear Meeting. The presentation is scheduled for Sunday, February 9, from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, CA.
Mr. Bloomberg’s presentation will discuss the work of litigation consultants, and the challenges of simplifying complex concepts into straightforward ideas that juries can understand. The presentation will also cover how today’s media shapes what people expect from trial graphics, as well as how lawyers can best utilize tools like timelines, flowcharts, maps, and flip charts in the courtroom.
“Whether your goal is to educate, inform, or persuade, visual images are one of the most effective means of communicating your ideas,” said Bloomberg. “In a mass media-driven age, success in the courtroom means being able to craft visuals that drive home your defense themes and persuade juries.”
The presentation is entitled “How Today’s Media is Influencing Trial Graphics: Being Ready for a Changing Landscape.” Bloomberg will be joined at the presentation by Bryant Spann of Thomas, Combs & Spann of Charleston, WV.
Bloomberg has 19 years of experience in the courtroom supporting trial teams and has handled a diverse range of cases, from toxic tort to product liability. He is also a contributor to many professional periodicals, including the National Law Journal.
