Vysk Privacy Products Receive Coveted CES Innovation Award
Las Vegas, NV and San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) January 05, 2015 -- Vysk Communications (Vysk), a pioneer in the private secure communications industry, with offices in San Francisco, California, and San Antonio, Texas, has been named a 2015 CES Innovation Awards Honoree twice by the prestigious CES Innovation Awards: Once for the Vysk QS1 Quantum Secure Case and again for the Vysk EP1 Privacy Charging Case. Vysk cases empower consumers to take back their privacy by offering truly disruptive technology that delivers privacy, protection, and security for voice communication and personal details stored on a smartphone.
Both the EP1 and QS1 cases will be showcased at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall 1, Booth #21924, from January 6 – 9, 2015.
“We’re privileged to be named a CES Innovation Award Honoree this year,” said Victor Cocchia, CEO of Vysk Communications. “This win for Vysk solidifies our place as an innovative organization on the cutting-edge of the fight to restore privacy, and highlights our truly unique and disruptive technology. Vysk is changing the way people think about, and protect, their personal information. Our products will deliver state-of-the-art technology and privacy to consumers everywhere.”
The Vysk EP1 case uses a combination of hardware and software components to protect the details of your life from the prying eyes of hackers. A patented camera shutter is used to prevent hackers from taking control of your iPhone’s cameras and the Vysk Private Gallery app and Vysk Private Text app are used to encrypt and protect your photos, videos and text messages. Additionally, the Vysk EP1’s rechargeable 2,200 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 120% more battery life for an iPhone.
The QS1 case creates a secure and independent environment outside of a potentially corrupted smartphone by incorporating an audio encryption engine, as well as a complete audio system into a stylish, professional case. When activated, the patented technology in the QS1 prevents the smartphone’s native microphones from picking up useful sound information, while at the same time allowing the user to speak into the isolated QS1 microphones. Voice calls are thus encrypted safely outside of the smartphone before being routed over the Vysk Privacy Network, which ensures the privacy and anonymity of the encrypted calls. The QS1 case will also provide protection for photos, videos, and text messages.
