We Never Outgrow the Need to Escape
(PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- First-generation Canadian novelist Carey Scheppner is an advocate for spending time in the countryside, away from civilization. Why? His imagination can roam free; it’s his “escape.”
Finding an abundance of predictable fantasy novels in the market, Scheppner pens new thrilling fiction, “Kazin’s Quest: Book I of the Dragon Mage Trilogy.” His main goal? That readers will be able to use his book to escape.
“I wanted to entertain readers with a story that allowed them escape the drudgery of their ordinary lives,” Scheppner says. “I wanted them to feel like they were part of a group of individuals fighting to save their world.”
The first book of a trilogy, “Kazin’s Quest” weaves magic, dragons and other creatures, surprising plot twists and a group of unforgettable heroes.
In a world where magic is common, a young mage acquires a group of unusual companions on his quest to discovering the truth about an ancient prophecy. As events unfold, they must risk their lives to overcome numerous obstacles, each contributing their individual abilities and cunning.
Scheppner stretches the imagination and provides an escape to a new exciting world with his new book, leaving readers wanting more.
