Webinar Provides Insider Tips on Starting In-House Aquatic Therapy Programs
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (PRWEB) December 11, 2017 -- Entrepreneurially minded physical therapy clinic owners and related providers face many hurdles to attract and maintain a constant supply of patients and referral sources. To expand their offerings, many add in-house aquatic therapy programs designed to enhance their existing solutions. On Tuesday, December 12, 2017, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. E.S.T., Troy Moore, DPT, will lead a vibrant, one-hour webinar discussing his practice’s experiences bringing aquatics to their client base.
Moore is the founder of Central Kansas Orthopedic Group Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in Great Bend, KS, which operates in a relatively rural community but attracts interest from larger population centers. Adding an in-house therapy pool to Central Kansas Orthopedic Group Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine’s variety of solutions led Moore and his team to more deeply understand the best practices surrounding their decision.
During the HydroWorx-sponsored webinar, “How to Kick Start a New Aquatic Therapy Program,” Moore will share his findings, suggestions and tips. Included in the presentation will be information on how to get buy-in from all stakeholders (e.g., staff, patients, referrers, community,) the proper protocol for logistical and equipment decision-making, financial considerations to reach and exceed break-even points, reimbursement rates and codes, as well as, projecting monthly and quarterly expenses. Additionally, Moore will touch upon the mistakes his team made along the way and what they would change if they went through a similar launch again.
“How to Kick Start a New Aquatic Therapy Program” is free to attend, but registration is required prior to start time. Other HydroWorx-sponsored webinars are available on-demand through a vast, accessible online library of presentations pertaining to all aspects of aquatics.
