Toronto, ON (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- Toronto-based software company Wild Apricot has achieved the number one spot on the Top 20 Membership Management Software Infographic for the second year in a row.
The research to determine the Top 20 Membership Management Software was conducted by Capterra, a business software directory. Their objective was to determine which membership management software options are the most popular based on a combination of the company’s total number of customers, members managed, and online presence.
To identify the Top 20, the business software directory focused solely on solutions that include membership management as their core function, and to be considered for the research review, the software needed to include:
—a membership database,
—the ability to process payments/dues/renewals,
—event and calendar management,
—communication tools including email/newsletters/etc.
As Dmitry Buterin, Chief Apricot (Wild Apricot CEO) observed, “it’s rewarding to see that even though Wild Apricot was among the smallest software companies included in the research, we had the largest customer base among the Top 20. It is particularly gratifying since our focus is on small associations and clubs, typically run by an all-volunteer team or just 1-2 staff and with 200-3000 members per organization.”
Buterin also noted, “while we’re proud to once again display the #1 badge of honor in Capterra’s Top 20 membership management software list, we’re also really pleased with the dozens of reviews our software has received on the Capterra directory.”
