Willamette Valley Country Club to Offer Single Proprietary Membership
Canby, Oregon (PRWEB) July 01, 2013 -- Willamette Valley Country Club announced today the creation of a new proprietary membership focused on single membership. It is one of the first clubs in the area to offer a membership to single golfers.
Willamette Valley Country Club, founded in 1962 in Canby, offers an 18-hole championship golf course, two restaurants, golf attire, golf instruction, golf practice facilities, junior golf program, social activities and fine dining.
“We’re excited to offer this new level of membership,” said Alison Cruden, Club Manager. “We surveyed the market and found that there are a lot of single golfers out there who would like to join a club, but there isn’t a specific membership for them.”
Single Player Proprietary members enjoy full club privileges including the use of the clubhouse, participation in a full calendar of social events and play on what many have regarded as the best golf course in the area. Member green fees and practice range balls are included in the member’s dues. WVCC is one of the first clubs in the area to offer it.
“Single Player Proprietary family members can also enjoy social-only membership privileges” said Cruden. “Members enjoy a full year of social activities as well as access to both formal and casual dining.”
This new category includes a one-time $2,500.00 initiation fee. Monthly dues are $355.00. There is also a quarterly food minimum of $135.00.
“A down to earth golf experience is king here and that is our focus. Our slogan is “Where the Players Play” and it’s true – our golfing membership is second to none,” said Cruden.
