Williamsburg Glass Finishes Project for Jewish Children’s Museum
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) February 06, 2014 -- Williamsburg Glass is proud to announce that they recently completed a new and exciting project for the Jewish Children’s Museum in Brooklyn, NY. The project consisted of designing unique pieces from scratch and creating them using three different techniques.
This project involved a multi-layer design technique, involving a high level of creativity and skill from the Williamsburg Glass team. To create the glass pieces, the glass fabrication professionals incorporated three techniques of sandblasting, including carving, shading and frosting. They also worked with two different kinds of glass.
The completed glass artwork is located in the main lobby of the Jewish Children’s Museum. There, the glass is mounted a few inches away from the wall, giving it the illusion of floating.
Williamsburg Glass specializes in creating custom glass pieces and has worked with a number of local businesses to design and create beautiful products, such as glass partitions, table tops and storefront windows. Some of the businesses Williamsburg Glass has created custom glass pieces for include Webster Hall, Waterside Restaurant & Catering, David’s Bridal and Cohen Opticals.
