Wilmington University Hosts Child Safety Training by InfraGard Delaware and the FBI
New Castle, Delaware (PRWEB) November 14, 2014 -- Wilmington University will host a day of Child Safety Training by InfraGard Delaware and the FBI in the Doberstein Admissions Center auditorium at the New Castle campus from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on December 4, 2014.
A continental breakfast, lunch and Certificates of Attendance will be provided to each attendee. A schedule of the day's events will be provided at entry.
On-site registration for the program begins at 8:00 a.m. To ensure seating and refreshments, online registration is recommended. Walk-ins are also welcome and can register at the door.

Presentations will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
The training is made possible by InfraGard Delaware and is being presented as a public service to members of the child welfare community and law enforcement.
Presentations will include:
· Enhancing Response to Incidents involving Special Needs Residents, by Brian Focht, Chief of the Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company in Pennsylvania,
· Gangs and Juvenile Sex Trafficking, by FBI Special Agent Jeffery Johannes
· Crimes Against Children, by FBI Supervisory Special Agent Mark Mackizer

"From learning basic autism recognition techniques that can improve the effectiveness of first responders to understanding the role of technology in combating juvenile sex trafficking, attendees will gain knowledge from recognized experts in the field.”
InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector. It is an association of persons who represent business, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S.
