World Wide Day of Play kicks off with surreal football experience
(PRWEB) September 19, 2014 -- On Saturday, September 20th, cutting-edge sports simulator company Visual Sports Systems will bring a unique football experience to NFL fans in support of Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play.
Kicking off a day prior to the epic rivalry between the New York Giants and New York Jets, Visual Sports will bring their active gaming experience to Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York for fans to test their skills in a life-like setting. The simulators' high-tech tracking cameras and sensors gives users real-time feedback on pass location, distance and ball speed after each throw. Instant replays and reverse angles display the flight path of each pass, giving users – whether you’re a beginner or amateur athlete – an in-depth review of their gameplay.
“The Giants vs. Jets rivalry brings out some of the most intense football fans in the league who want to get as close to the game as possible,” says Daniel Weitzner, Vice President of Development at Visual Sports. “Our elite technology used with our football simulators puts sports fans, young and old, in the shoes of their heroes and we’re happy to share that experience during World Wide Day of Play.”
Visual Sports is an event participant in NFL PLAY 60, a mission launched by the National Football League to make the next generation of youth the most active and healthy. NFL PLAY 60 has partnered with Worldwide Day of Play hosting interactive events like the one held at Prospect Park. Earlier in the year, Visuals Sports participated in the NFL Kickoff as part of the PLAY 60 campaign.
