Yeah Baby! Twin Creek Media Wins Adiri Account
Kelowna, British Columbia (PRWEB) July 02, 2014 -- From its early beginnings in the 1990s as an avant garde manufacturer of baby bottles, the Adiri brand has always walked to its own beat. Now, the company is entering the online marketplace in a big way and is keenly aware of the challenge to remain true to its roots. In an ultra-competitive consumer products industry dominated by multi-national conglomerates, how does an “indie” brand stand out?
“We play to our natural strengths,” says James Shaw, partner at Twin Creek Media, a marketing agency in Kelowna. “The Adiri brand story is powerful, and is as grass roots as you can get. It will connect very well with twenty and thirty-somethings entering parenthood. In a digital age of Facebook and Youtube, authenticity rules, and that’s why we’re so excited about introducing Adiri through genuine, heart-felt marketing campaigns this year.”
Over the years, Adiri has helped more than half a million babies enjoy milk that’s free of air and full of nutrients with the one bottle modeled after mom. It all started with a vision from environmentalist and father John Prentice. He asked a bold question: “Shouldn’t a baby’s bottle function and feel just like a breast?” With that, in 1990, he set out to design the safest, most breast-like bottle ever. Milk that was free of air to keep gas, spit up, and symptoms of colic at bay. High-quality BPA-free plastic. Soft, warm nipple. And a natural breast shape. In fact, the first Adiri bottle looked so much like a breast, parents just weren’t comfortable using it.
Fast-forward a couple of decades and the Adiri brand landed in the hands of another father, Antal Markus. In the Natural Nurser, an early rendition of the bottles, he saw how he could help babies everywhere enjoy all the benefits of breastfeeding. He said to his family—his wife and four grown sons—“Let’s be a part of the bottle that’s going to revolutionize the way infants are fed.”
So, in 2010, ReliaBrand was born at the kitchen table of the Markus family home in Kelowna, Canada. ReliaBrand is a family of products, but also a company that makes products for families, including the Adiri line of bottles.
Twin Creek Media’s Kelowna website design team is working on redesigning the new Adiri website, which will provide the first glimpse of things to come as Adiri gets ready to relaunch their “modeled after mom” baby bottles. The bottles themselves are incredibly high-tech and combine features not found in many household brands. Their MD+ Medicine Delivery Nurser is a great example of design excellence; the form and function are in perfect harmony. The team at Twin Creek Media think this is a great metaphor for the upcoming promotional campaigns.
“Just like the products themselves, the advertising will be thoughtful and authentic. Our goals are the same, and we’re looking forward to great things this year.”
