Yusen Logistics (Americas) Announces Three Promotions
Secaucus, NJ (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. (YLA) has recently announced three promotions.
John Hurst has been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager, Warehouse Division, assuming overall responsibility for the business unit. He previously served as Vice President, Warehouse Division, and brings more than 20 years of experience to his role.
Prior to joining Yusen Logistics in 2012, Hurst held senior leadership positions with Performance Team (2010-2012), APL Logistics (1996-2009) and CEVA Logistics (1989-1996). He holds an MBA from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University and a BA in Material and Logistics Management from Michigan State University.
Brian Paolillo has been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager, Transportation Division. He will be responsible for day-to-day management of the operations, sales and administrative processes for all of Yusen Logistics Transportation. In addition, he will be working directly with senior leadership in strategic planning and growth initiatives for the organization.
Paolillo joined Yusen Logistics in 2013 as Sales Director. He previously held positions with Pacer International (2008-2013), Hub Group (1999-2008) and Schneider National (1990-1999). He also served as Lt. Colonel, Civil Affairs, with the United States Army. He is a graduate of Hofstra University.
John Simonsen has been promoted to Vice President, Corporate Development, and is responsible for overseeing the supply chain solutions and marketing groups. He joined Yusen Logistics in 2009 as Director of Supply Chain Solutions. Previously, he held positions at YRC Logistics (1999-2009). Simonsen holds an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a BS in Business Management from York College of Pennsylvania.
